Friday Feb 23

 Today we did a assignment on a lot of poems. It isn’t interesting I know but we finished one. And by finish I mean one fourth. D: At least finishing one fourth is better than none. Still. It was like any other day for me I guess.

 Today we read poems in class. It was from mother to son by Langston hueges. Now normally it would feel like any other poem. But this one struck home. Probably because I have a mom and I don’t want her to die. I mean moms are the ones who gave us life. And the feeling that you are growing up while she is getting old is depressing to think about.

 Today we read another peom by Langston Hughes. It was about freedom and liberty. I wrote a lot. It was pretty good. Then we spent the rest of class talking about rights.  I feel like I could actually use the right in a way. Because I will mostly have to either way.

Today we did a assignment on “The Negro Speaks of Rivers”. It was written by Langston Hughes. It is about how a person’s history is always flowing like the rivers. Like when blood stops flowing because of a clot or death, rivers stop flowing due to something in the way or just simply drying up.

 Today is Friday Feb 9th 2024. We finished with the presentations and it was pretty good. We then went to doing our T-charts about how to respect and disrespect different cultures. It was fine. Not bad.

 Today we started presenting. I was one of the last. Everyone had creative things. Some chose dumpster diving, others music, and others websites. Saw one website, Silk Road. I heard of it. Apparently the FBI shutted it down so it’s forever lost.

 Today we did a assignment. Well it was more of a test. And I am pissed off on HOW I GOT FIVE WRONG?!?!?!?!?!? I read the question and I got it wrong. How?! It was how to research paper and I responded on how I would do it. And I got it wrong.

 Today Mr.Rease wasn’t here. He left us a assignment to do, which I did. But was a little confusing. But hey. I finished it. That’s what counts. Right? Anyway I also finished the chapter five worksheet which I forgot because I was busy this week. Going to see how this ends.
