 Today me and four other people (including the teacher) read fences. The book is about a African-American family trying to survive. The description of the book said it’s supposed to be “serious” but unfortunately, years of the internet and my immaturity made it funny. Such as when cursed worse showed up. I took the role of one of the sons who is said to be a musician but mostly borrows money. I got to give it a 9/10.

 Today we talked about "Fences" written by August Wilson. We are about to read it tomorrow. We talked on how poverty and crime also have a connection. I believe the book is going to be about both a literal fence and a mental fence. There is a half built fence which I believe is a physical fence. The mental fence will probably be something in the family.

 I heard some gun shots and saw a couple of people run from the forest behind me, get into a grey/brown family van, then speed off. 

Tuesday Nov 14

 Today we had to do a project about our childhood neighborhood. I think it’s going to be easy but it’s not since I was only allowed to be inside the apartment or around the apartments. So I’m going to think of something. But it’s most likely going to be disappointing.

Monday nov 13

 Today we read and answered questions. I forgot what the book title was about but the story was about two kids and a rock pile. I definitely understood it. Either way, the part where a lady found her dead son who drowned kinda stressed me for some reason. I don’t know why. I give it a 9/10.

 Today we read a poem. We talked in detail in how Poets are similar to Acrobats. It was a pretty nice similar connection. I thought it was nice. I also thought about the tight rope video. I mean I know it’s their lives and such and they practice that a lot, but why? Any way. I give it a 9/10
