 Today were presented out jam boards. Most of them were completed. I finished mine last night. I was pretty nervous about presenting but I presented. I think mine was semi-good? I don't really have that much confidence in it but I was ok with it. It could have gone way worse.

Monday Aug 28 2023

 Today we finished writing our origin myths and went on to build a jam board. I honestly thought it was going to be harder but no it was surprisingly easy! We are going to have to present this tomorrow so I don'r know how mine will turn out but I have pretty good expectations about myself. I just hope this week won't be so stressful since I have two tests this week. I am worried. I could organize myself better. To make matters worse I got to turn in five worksheets. I know my mom tells me to not worry but how is not worrying about going to help when you got a test on math which the practice test is on delta math and every time you load a question it take too long. Now I forgot about that because I had work this weekend so there goes my study time. and I know the teacher won't care since it is a test and I "should have studied" when I didn't know the delta-math wouldn't work. Anyway I should really go to sleep. I got the math test tomorrow. I don't feel so good. :(

 Today we mostly just did four questions. I thought I would get two wrong but I only got one wrong. I definitely Can do better in the future. I then focused on my Origen myths, but got distracted and looked at the Mexican drug war. It’s going pretty awful to be honest.

 Today we wrote about our origin myths for all of the class period. I wrote about a god named Boogie and how he created the world. I am almost done with it so it’s going well. One of my classmates is point one about a painter. And my other classmate doesn’t know how to start. But I think he’ll make one by Monday.

 Today we worked on our myths and I say it’s going pretty good. I am already half way through so it’s going to be a breeze. It’s about this mini war so her it’s already looking awesome. The sun is a source of like that the hawk stole and the moon (creator) is chasing the sun (hawk) for the light back. I’d say I love it.

Aug 21 2023 monday

 Today we wrote notes about Native american myths. We had to write an organizer about ourselves and for me it seemed harder than some other work because I clearly do not know myself. We now have an assignment where we have to create our own myths. It seems easy the only problem being I have almost ZERO imagination. At least we learned myth and religion aren't the same thing.

 On Thursday we watched two short films and tried to find the theme. The theme is the lesson, moral, or message of the story. The first short film ever one agreed it was don’t judge a book by its cover. Second film is about standing up for the right thing. It has a lot of themes.

 Today is Monday 15th 2023 and we studied how to identify and annotate text in a essay/news artical. Today the new article was about students wearing blue jumpsuits due to not complying to the dress code in a county in Texas. If you ask me I don't think student should wear a blue jump suit because they didn't comply with the rules. At the same time Students should know when to draw the line into knowing what is appropriate and what is not. Maybe a few day in detention or something else but not jumpsuits. At the same time if students don'r comply and have been in suspension or whatever it is then sure it might be wise to go with the jumpsuit.

 Today is August 14 2023 and it is currently 3:52 pm. I just recently arrived from the bus and took a small break. Just checked when I go work today and I enter at 4:45 and get out at 10:15. :( 

I went to all seven periods today some of them boring. In the first period we did some math equations and if you ask me I didn't understand a single one of the problems. This year is already going off to a great start. Second period I wrote some notes down.We did some french work. Fourth I went to band class. I thought it was going to be like any normal day only to realize I almost fell asleep several times. Then the fifth period rolled around and it was just a power point presentation. When the sixth period came I don't know if the teacher was trying to make the class boring or if it was just my attention span. Needless to say I almost fell asleep. Finally the seventh period came. The last class. It went by fast. Too fast. Makes me suspicious if the class is just easy or if it will be one of the hardest classes I will take this year.
